EASY RIDER 6 DAYS FROM HOI AN TO DALAT VIA HO CHI MINH ROAD

TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: HOI AN → KHAM DUC

Get away from Hoian for the mountain road to visit the local business such as incense making, Cao Dao Temple and tasting with the local pineapple plantation then visit the Ka Tu ethnic village. Taking walk to the beautiful waterfall and swim there. Stop for the pictures at the marvelous mountain sceneries and keep going along the mountain way to the hotel.

Accommodation: Hotel in Kham Duc

DAY 2: KHAM DUC → KON TUM

Visit the local market early in the morning and discover the daily life of Vietnamese people or the river bank before living Kham Duc. On this day we will stop at the war monuments and battlefields where you can learn more about Vietnam War histories like old Phoenix Airport and Charlie hill.

Accommodation: Hotel in Kontum.

DAY 3: KON TUM → CHU SE

Our journey continues rolling on the Ho Chi Minh trail to the Sea Lake “The Eyes of Pleiku”, here is a good place to take pictures and feel nature, then visit a tea farm and Buddhism temple.

Kontum, a small and peaceful land by the Dkbla River, is a virgin land with pristine nature and intact hill-tribe cultures such as the Bahnar, the J’rai and the Sedan. The town also still retains vestiges of ancient cathedral architecture such as the wooden church (where the local orphanage lives). You can buy some gifts or candies for these kids here and play with them for a while.

After visiting the church, we are going to visit another group of ethnic people at Kon Katu village and walk around to see the special Rong house, the beautiful river and local life.

DAY 4: CHU SE → BUON MA THUOT ( BMT CITY)

Leaving the capital city of the central highland ( BMT), our guides will explain more about this important area during the French and American periods and visit the political prison from 1900 to 1975. We also visit some of the farms here such as the Cocoa farm and rubber farm.

DAY 5: BMT CITY → LAK LAKE

Again our journey is to visit the BMT museum which is the last place you can understand more about war history and different ethnic groups in Vietnam then continue to visit the locals making rice paper and rice noodles. Lunch is on the way before getting to the waterfall for swimming in the national park. Keep going to Lak lake to visit the Bao Dai hill where the last King of Vietnam used to stay for hunting animals and learn more about the King's history.

DAY 6: LAK LAKE → DA LAT

Leave the wildlife of Lak lake to Dakmil, don’t miss your chance to know more about the local culture of the M'nong people here, our tour guide will try their best to explain to you about their life, history and how they can earn money to live in their area. Then, you also do the dug-out canoe trip to feel the beauty of the second natural lake here in the morning(depending on the wind).

Head to the breathtaking countryside road Dalat to see the beautiful landscapes and reach another coffee farm you will try to taste different types of coffee like Mocha, Robusta, Arabica, or weasel animal coffee.

After visiting all those beautiful farms, continue your journey to a local family where you are able to try the taste of the strongest traditional homemade rice wine. The next destination will be a family business – a silk worm factory to learn about the silk-making process.

And the highlight of this area is waiting for you at the Elephant waterfall. It is a massive fall where you will be shown if stand at the bottom. Close to the fall is the Buddhism Temple & a huge Happy Buddha statue and the highest lady Buddha statue in the south where you will enjoy your time and get a deeper understanding of Buddhism through our guides.

Local cuisine will be served for you as your lunch with different dishes.

Head to the countryside of Dalat for the Pongour waterfall, flowers farm and coffee plantation. At the coffee plantation, you will try different tastes of coffee like Mocha, Robusta, Arabica, or weasel animal coffee.
